Hi! I’m Bella. Mom calls me “Bella Lew,” “Bella the Beautiful,” “Belly,” and ”Lula.” I’ve lived with my human since May 2007. I was fostered in New York by a nice man named David when my parents found me. They weren’t sure how old I was, but Mom called around and found out that I was five years old and had been “surrendered” for being aggressive. I bit my Mom and Dad a few times when I first met them, but I stopped that when I learned to trust them. People sometimes call me a “Flemish Giant” because I am such a big rabbit, but Mom thinks I’m mixed with something else. I love nose and head rubs and will nudge for more if you stop too early. I love treats especially dried apricot. Mom says I can’t have too many of those, but I have a sweet tooth. My favorite spot to sleep is on my blanket. I live in a nice place and on sunny days Mom opens the door for me so I can sleep on the screened-in porch and feel the breeze and listen to the birds.
